Closed on my boat today. The only thing the surveyor could come up with was my fire extinguishers were not inspected this year. Good luck to the new owner. The hunt begins for number 8.

Good news.

I'm sea trialing my 48 next Tuesday, hoping it goes well.

What are you looking for to replace #7?

Most likely looking for a 48/50 Silverton 05 to 07. Good luck with your sea trial.

This is not good news, it's GREAT news. You do not have to sweat out being a two boat owner. Given that you have quite a bit of time in a buyer's market to find the next ride.
Take your time, think about the future and your basic requirements. Ignore the fringe requirements and look for what you need or want to accomplish. For example, we decided on a boat that could MOVE if we wanted it to. In hind sight, we would have been better off with more space and less power given our itinerary. Weather is easy to work around. All you have to do is wait.

I don't understand. There's still 2 months left to the season. I need a boat for this weekend? :) good advice.

Congratulations!!! Very happy for you. Now I will have a boat neighbor with a bigger boat for my dog and kids!!!

Where are you going to spend your winter now that you don't have a boat to go to?

Make sure there's a zipper on your boat so I have a place to have a cigar.

You can hang out on mine but there is not much in the way of seating at the moment.

This is great news I can't wait to see the new boat in the slip I hope I don't hit pulling out of my slip it's going to be a much tighter turn for me!

Congrats!
Been there done that.

Nice boats. Deals are around on them.

Hank, this is great news. Fix up the Silverton when you get it, and I'll buy it from you in 3 years!

And they are selling fast, Yachtworld had 30+ for sale when we were shopping for ours and now if you remove the duplicate listings there's only around 16 country wide.

Three years is about average for me. Bought the 08 new in fall of 09 and kept it for four. Dont worry though, my recent M.O. is to load the hell out of it with upgrades and then decide to sell so you should have a well equpped boat.

That's my plan - remember, I'm first in line. There is one with a TNT lift.

Great news Hank,
Good luck with the search and maybe you will find one fully loaded with the goodies you had :)
