Bow Roller Replacement

I own a 2000 Carver 326 and I'm trying to find a replacement for the Simpson Lawrence bow roller (Delta style anchor) that was bent pretty bad in a storm last week. Simpson Lawrence combined with Lewmar and no longer make this part. They make a similar item but the dimensions are significantly different. The bow roller is recessed into the front of the bow and is rather narrow (2 inches in width). I'm having a hard time finding a replacement either new or used. I was informed by Carver that the last order for this part was placed in 2004 with Maxwell. Maxwell's parts department will not provide me with the name of the company that last made this component. Anyone have any ideas?

Just in case someone has this problem in the future, it's almost impossible to find a replacement. I purchased a similar Lewmar bow roller with the 3-inch channel and had the smaller 2-inch channel from the original Simpson Lawrence version welded to the new bow roller at a location as it extends beyond the bow. The 2-inch channel bolts to the bow. Seems to work fine.

I just went through this and found the same problem regarding the narrow 2" width, although I didn't have anything broken; the stock setup doesn't self-launch. Also the stock bail is so small that the anchor I have, about a 25 lb Danforth was too snug of a fit through it.

My solution was to take off the stock roller all together, seal up the three screw holes with 3M 5200, create a 2" PVC/plastic block out of cut up cutting boards, (8) 1/4" x 4" x 8" layered and epoxied together, and mount a new powder coated self launching roller with much larger and sturdier bail, on top of the block I made. The whole assembly is secured by three 6" x 3/8" hex bolts drilled through the pulpit and sealed with 5200. I'll snap a pic or two over the next few days and post.
