I have a Bravo II prop, Stainless Steel 25P as part of a twin installation. This winter we noted for some reason that the prop is causing the outdrive to shake (left to right) even at low speeds (when testing out of the water). We have confirmed its not the shaft by swapping the two props over, the vibration/oscillation follows the offending prop. No visible damage can be seen on the prop itself, and I have been told that it could be the centre hub carrier has come out of alignment/got damaged.
I understand that replacing the centre hub with rubber insert is a specialist job that requires a large press, and something that cannot be done effectively here in Malta.
However do you it could be a blade alignment issue?
