Brick NJ. to Boston Ma.

I have made the trip twice and I like the East River to the sound. Always close to help if you should need it. And seeing NYC from the water is a great experience. Did you buy the boat from Ed Brennan???

Well got the boat home over the weekend! Ytrip was great! Left Brick NJ at 8 am and arrived at Verazano Narrows Bridge at 9:55. New York Harbor was fantastic! Was drizzling when we left NJ and just before NY the sun came out.Great ride up the east river and into LI Sound. The Sound was like a lake! Stopped in Stratford CT to refuel and made it up to Newport around 7.
Had a bit of a hiccup in Newport as there was not 1 fuel dock open any where! Called Sea Tow,Harbormaster and every fuel dock around. Nothing! Found a place open in Tiverton RI called Pirates Cove. About an hours trip. Did some calculations and figured we would just make it on the fuel we had. After refueling I had about 25 Gallons in each tank to spare.
Really tight space at Pirates Cove but fuel was $1.00 cheaper 3.75 than in CT.
Left tiverton at 2:30 and arrived at my dock in Boston Harbor at 6:30.
Seas for entire trip were flat calm except for a few rollers when we left the sound into Block Island Sound and when we first pulled out of Brick.
Boat ran fantastic with no issues at all.
