I checked the manufacturer's web-site for Campa Chem and noticed that they have a Formaldehyde free version that is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.
Has anyone tried this version? Is it effective? Does anyone know of any down side to using this product?
 
Yes I use it and it works the same as the formaldehyde version but safer I guess.
 
I haven't tried that but I'm going to try Aqua-Kem. My parents have been using that for years in their campers.

The manufacturer's website says that it is available exclusively at Walmart. I went to my local Walmart to buy it and they never heard of it. I'm going to try calling the manufacturer.
 
Look in the camping section at Wal-Mart - I haven't seen a Wal-Mart yet that didn't carry it (of course there's always a first time).
 
Thanks! I'll check another Walmart this week. I tried the camper section in my local Walmart a few days ago and they didn't have it. I tried asking the Customer Service people if they carry it and that didn't work out well.
 
It definitely does not work as well as the blue stuff. I didn't notice the smell until the third or forth tank after I switched to the natural stuff. The head always had a strong urine smell until I switched back. The original stuff is cheap and bullet-proof.
 
I tried it and lark is right , it took 3 tanks full to get rid of the smell. Another example of better living through the use of chemicals. "More is better"
