I had a coil failure shortly after having needing an alternator replacement and having battery discharge problems. Could these be related? I am still having some battery drain issues (although not while engine is running). Any danger of damaging the new coil? What causs coil failure? Engine/boat is 6 years hold. Thanks for any info/advice.
