Can I trust Navionics charts?

I just got a new boat and now have RayMarine E Series electronics, with the Navionics Platinum charts. My old boat had a Northstar chartplotter, which showed the scanned (raster) NOAA charts. I'm trying to get used to the vector charts that I now have.

One thing I've noticed are misspellings in features on the Navionics charts. For example, the harbor I boat out of in Manchester MA has a "Gales Point". The Nobeltec chart calls it "Gayles Point". Also, there's a rock called "Sauli Rock". The chart labels it "South Rock". I assume these are typos by the person who transcribed the chart. If the only errors in the charts are typos, that's no big deal. But if other things are mislabelled, such as depths, that could be a bigger problem.

Please - I don't want to get into yet another "electronic charts are merely a tool and no replacement for paper charts" discussion - I'd just like people's specific knowledge and opinions about the Navionics chart accuracy specifically.

Thanks!

- Dave
