Can you go from Raritan Bay to Princeton?

I was just lookign around Google Maps and it looks like you can follow the Raritan all the way up, past Sayreville, New Brunswick, Boundbrook, Manville, Rocky Hill and then Princeton.

Is this route bloacked by any barriers, or is it actually doable?
 
Not navigable up that far. It gets real shallow near Highland Park.
 
That's how I found out! That was a long time ago.
 
Charts seem to indicate you can safely go to New Brunswick. After that it looks real shallow. Never been that way via boat, just looking at the charts.
 
yeah, I never even really looked. I woulda checked my charts,but they be on the boat.
