My engine hatch is opened and closed with a 3 positon switch. up/off/down. It is run off a bennett trim tab pump with a single fluid line to a single ram.
Tried to open hatch the other day and it would not go up. Raised hatch by hand with the help off two other people and propped open with a boat hook. When done we dropped engine hatch down but it would not close the last foot or so.
I can hear the pump running when I hit the switch in the up or down position but the ram is not moving. Yes the fluid level is fine.
Where do I start trouble shooting, Ram/pump/bleeding. How do you bleed this system ?
