I need to replace my canvas. I called around to the local people and just want to get another quote since these are all high.

I called:
Patino
Parker
American Marine Canvas
Seafarer

Is there anyone else in the area?
 
Rob, did you try the place (Arnolds) on the Rinker site? Supposedly *very* good prices and original factory product...
 
Rob,

The price that John Patino gave you is not his final price, go back and tell him you have been shopping around, and he'll drop his previous price.

John did all new seating and rugs in my cockpit and the work is great, but his track record for staying on schedule is something else. The same can be said about Bill at Seafarer. If Heidi still work's for Bill try to deal with her, she was always very responsible.

From what I've heard he's booked solid thru the fall...
 
I checked Arnolds - Is does not have any for my boat - A few guys in the marina did get some from him.

Alot of these canvas guys are saying mid to late June now. I know its the busy season but it sucks. All I have is the cockpit cover and the bimini now. No overnights for a while.
 
I'm glad I was able to call Gioa Sails, the OEM for Silverton. Gave them my HIN and CC numbers, I should receive a full top in three weeks. Much, much easier. I'm psyched!
 
Walshie, Sea Ray did the same thing for me.. It was spp easy just had to install the snaps...

Rob, You know this is a weenter project...
 
I don't mean do the job in the winter.. I mean line it up for the beginning of the seaosn.. Not, start calling for quotes late April...
 
What needs to be done and what price do you consider high? If you have three quotes and they are all high, maybe they are not high, but are in the same price range?
 
They are very similar except one that is really high. I am ready to pull the trigger on it now. I just need someone to do it this summer now.

Also some customization like bringing the canvas to the Arch instead of under it.
