After a wild night on Lake Lanier.

My beer googles were too fogged up Officer.

Anchor? I don't need no stinking anchor!

But my GPS said....

I guess they really are right when they say you can't always see the forest for the trees.

After running up on the bank John immediately went to work removing the name off the transom of his boat.

I said, "Take a right at the next bank not onto the next bank!"

Why yes officer, I have been drinking, why?

" Do I need to lower my flag now that I'm on the hard?"

I don't think that happened in Michigan, because there's no powerloading in Michigan...

I used to go camping on a lake in NorCal that was operated by the Army Corp of Engineers (Lake Englebright).
All the camp sites were boat in only. There were warning signs that the Corp could drop the water level signifantly overnight so be careful how you tie your boat up to shore.
It was not uncommon to see a boat or 2 the next morning looking pretty much like the OP's pic

occifer, there's a tree blocking my way. can you help me move it so i can drive this thing to my trailer?

Joking aside, I bet they were driving at planing speed and night and couldn't see the water's edge. Often folks don't realize they lose their depth perception at night.......
