Car floating in Great South Bay

If you hit that with your boat is it a car accident or a boat accident?
 
Man oh man … I don't get it .. Why would anyone do this

Back in the 60's, when it was stated that VW Bugs would float, every once in a while you'd hear of one bobbing around in S.F. Bay.

Looks like that car in the south bay might be a mustang. whadaya thunk.
 
Looks like a 4 door to me, Maybe a Charger?

Either there was alcohol involved, or some brain surgeon thought it would be a good way to do an insurance job on their car.
 
Maybe he drove it on the ice and it fell in.
Wait, do you have ice this year?
I don't get it, last year bay froze solid, this year, no ice, no snow.
Mild winter so far.
But I wouldn't know, I am in Florida!

Shhhhhh......don’t wake the weather Gods.
Blowing out of here for 10 days the end of this month, and another 10 days the end of next month. Hoping to miss any significant snow.
