outboard is a 1970 evinrude 40 hp. engine will keep running if i force feed through the carb but will not run smooth on its own, found there were 3 holes inside of the throat of the carb that the low idle tuning screw feeds, looks like there could be 2 more holes there also? is there? that i think would cause the carb not to feed the engine on its own.
