Carbon fiber Back-lite Helm Panels - Caver 3207

With the warn weather I started to install. I will post some competed pictures in the spring.

The gauge worked fine before replacement so I didn't plan on changing the sensors. I replaced the teleflex gauges with teleflex gauges. Spoke with teleflex beforehand to make the new ones would work with the old sensors
 
great to here the new ones work with the old sensors. the dash does look great
 
Well on this last day of warm weather put in the new sync gauge and mounted the last panels. Replaced the black Allen head screws with stainless. The other ones were carbon steel and started to have some surface rust. Can't decide if the black screws looked better than the S.S screws. Still waiting for the last tach to come

Got the last tach in. Just a little more wiring left. I will post some night pictures in the spring.

Know that you are done it must be time to sell the boat:)
 
Try to keep the helm covered I have found my carbon fiber faded over time I just added another panel and I can't believe the difference.

That I did not know. I was thinking on making a cover but now it will be a sure thing. Thank's for the heads up!
