I am in the process of doing a few projects on the cockpit wetbar on my 32 Montego. I am installing a sidebar liquor dispenser, hard wired lighting, and redoing the counter top. When dismantling the counter top, I discovered a storage box molded in to the fiberglass surface below the plywood counter top. This is to the right of the sink. Does anyone have this or know what it was for and why it is not used? My only guess is that it may have been a location for a blender base since that's the only way a blender would fit in there. I am going to incorporate it into the new design for storing bar accessories but was just wondering if anyone had this on theirs.
Thanks,
Jim
5/2: After getting frustrated trying to find a replacement sink and/or drain, I decided to look in a few of my food service supply books. As it turns out, the sink on the 32 Montego wet bar is a water filling sink made for restaurants. It is a fisher model 1403 in case anyone needs to replace theirs. Here's a link to the manufacturer:
