Carver 350 Dinghy Davits Installtion

We just purchased a 1997 Carver 350 Mariner. I would like to install Weaver Dinghy Davits/Quick Kit on the swim platform. Before I start to drill and cut can anyone tell me how the itegrated swim platform is constructed or has anyone installed davits on this boat?

Back in the Day when we first got our 350, I looked into doing that as well but went another route for our needs. There was a website that showed various installations, and I believe 1 was a 350 Mariner so I have all the confidence it can be done. Hopefully someone with real experience will chime in for you.
