Carver 366 with Tender

I have 2004 Carver 366 aft cabin and am looking for some advice. I have 2 dogs I need to take ashore on occasion and am thinking about purchasing a small inflatable zodiac. Has anyone ever put a hoist on the rear roof for storage? Other suggestions? Thanks

I wouldn't put one up there, I would look into a davit system like a st. croix system for the transom or weaver snap davits. I dont think you would even have enough space on the hardtop for an inflatable.

Have used the snap davits. Hated them!

Strongly recommend the St. Croix removable davits. They mount on the transom or swim platform and can be very easily removed when you don't need or want them.

I use the holders that look like to big C's for mine. They don't cost alot and work great, and hold our 9'dinghy fine.
