Carver 3807 Owners - How Many RPM's at WOT?

Hello All-

Over the winter I bought an '87 3807 with 454 Crusaders. Both engines have been rebuilt within the last 50 hours. In addition to the engines, I had the props tuned at Propscan based on their most recent information regarding the 3807. Unfortunatly, I wasn't able to see how the boat ran last year, but as of right now I am only getting about 3400 RPM's at WOT after recent tuneups. I cannot get the to plane. Other than the (lack of) top end RPM's, everything else seems spot on. Does this sound right?

You should be getting around 4400.
How clean is the bottom and running gear? What size props do you have? Are your 4 barrels opening up?
