Our 2001 350 Mariner had a leak in the starboard aft corner of the cabin. The fabric on the bolster below our tear-drop window got a bad water stain which I made worse by trying to fix with Resolve stain remover.

I'd like to recover the bolster. The bad news is Carver and my dealer no longer have the fabric. The fabric manufacturer no longer makes it either. Does anybody have an idea for a source that might have 10 year old Carver fabric? I found a possiblity at Great Lakes Skipper, I have a swatch coming our way.

Any ideas on how I might find the fabric and not have to totally re-upholster the boat?

Thanks!

We've got a '99 350 Mariner and we wanted matching fabric to make a hatch cover for the berth cabin (to block out the sunlight for sleeping in). The combing (I think that's what it's called) in our berth is navy with gold stars. Went to Michael's (arts/crafts store) and found a perfect match, had to look through some fabric books but we found it pretty quick. They ordered it and we had it in a few days. Maybe that would work for you? Another though - if you can't find an exact match, maybe it's time to update with new fabric? It doesn't appear to be that hard to remove and recover the bolsters and such with new fabric.
