It sure was a great day out Sunday. Took some friends fishing and one of the kids caught a nice little grouper. A couple of yellow tail but all too small to keep and a few grunts. Saw a nice pod of porpoises. Real slow offshore not much only a few bites but didn’t hook anything. Still had a great time.

we must have been fishing in same area. Those Porpoise were between us and the beach. We were on the edge of the 3rd Reef, between Hilsboro inlet and Boca.
We were just a little south of Hillsboro Inlet around the steeple when we saw the porpoises. We trolled north to about Hillsboro out to the 3 mile line and came back and stopped on the reef off Sunrise.
Kids displaing thier catch.
Ran over this old crab trap and had to go for an early moring swim in New River to cut it off the prop.
Friends and crew.
All dried out and warm again offshore.
On the way back home and had to go to the short sleeves as was grtting in the mid 80 degrees mark.
On the way in from our fishing trip Sunday, we had a little excitement. Casey was sitting on a chair in the cockpit and rested her head on the gunnel. as we entered the ICW she was dozing off.
All of a sudden I hear her scream. I turned to see a large Iguana sitting right next to her head.
Casey jumped up but that critter did not make a move, in fact it wouldn't move till I pushed it off the boat.
We laughed about it and Casey took it all in stride, Heck I would have nightmares. [:-scared]
Cant figure out where that Iguana hung out for 8 hours with all the bait being cut and JB and the Parrots blasting away on the DP. Is it possible that it could have climbed up the side of the Hull while we were stopped waiting for bridge opening?? May be time to wax.
