Hey all, anyone see this on news 12 today?

http://www.news12.com/LI/topstories/article?id=211128

This is about 2 blocks from my house. As soon as i saw where it was located, i knew what cat it must have been. There is this one black and white cat that hangs out in the street right around that canal. Both my girlfriend and myself have almost hit this cat multiple times.

The article says it's in copiague, but it's actually amity harbor.

I always say you can't trust cats... :)

BTW, isn't Amity Harbor part of Copiague?

I couldn't read it. I got a page that wanted me to subscribe to something.

Driver spares cat, but plunges into canal

(05/06/08) COPIAGUE – A driver who swerved to avoid a cat plunged his car into a Copiague canal late Monday night.

Police say the accident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Suffolk County police sent divers in the water, but driver Mark Antonacci had managed to exit the vehicle on his own. After the crash, Antonacci went to the home of a nearby resident, who provided assistance and called police.

Antonacci was taken to the hospital and treated for exposure to the cold water. Police issued him two summonses because they say he was speeding and failed to avoid a stop sign before the accident.

The car was pulled out of the canal early in the morning. There was no sign of the cat near the accident scene.

I heard it was Walter trying to teach his daughter to back the jetski down the ramp!
