When the fuel dock opens, gas will be $3.75/gallon. We went yesterday to pick up our season passes, et al and asked what pricing would be. I didn't think that was too bad for starters.

It amazes me that we have already accepted fuel that is less than $4.00 a gallon as acceptable. With that said, it sounds "cheap" to me, I just paid $3.899 for gas in the pick-up. 93 octane of course :-)

I quit subscribing to all the boating magazines, my wife said she will cut back on diet coke. So we are ready to spend the extra cash on gas. I calculated we can buy about 4.32 gallons/month with the savings.

wow with $4.32 savings u might just make it to the fuel dock but I doubt you will make it back. it's def going to kill the credit cards this year filling up.

At least we have a great place to hang out if we decide to stay docked...I'll ride Millenium Force and Maverick all day long with a Wicked Twister thrown in once in a while

My car requires premium, which went to $3.89 yesterday. I don't think I've ever paid more at a gas station than I have at the fuel dock. This aint lookin good.

Launched yesterday about 1:00...ran it the 3 hours to Cedar Point thru some hallacious water, and ended up fine. She's nicely tied in her berth and ready for a summer of fun! She handled the nasty lake quite well...surprised me as I've never had he out in those kinds of seas before. I was followed by a 2007 35SS and he had a hard time keeping up with me...made me feel pretty good. His last words were "are you nuts?" LOL

Yes...He would ahve gotten there about the time the storm started...I hope he got tied up ok

I was sitting on my boat watching it rain when he pulled in. Friend of mine. Said he followed a captain over.

I am taking off work friday and hopefully will be either putting it in thusday afternoon, and moving it to cedar friday or if we get wet early enough and things go real well may dock thusday late at cedar. Hopefully the weather will not be too bad. We plan on staying the whole weekend.

dritter, That was me he followed. We actually had a decent trip aside from the 10 minutes of gale force winds...and the scary sky as we neared Sandusky Bay. I talked to Greg this morning, and he actually did better than I thought he did...which is good. I'm just glad it's there!

Hey Joe. I hope the weather works out for you. We came down on Saturday and those winds Kenny mentioned weren't much fun.

I saw 290DA docked across from your slip. I assumed it was you and thought you had moved, but upon closer inspection, it's a 2000.

no havent moved or been moved yet. Plans are still in flux but current is to drive up thursday late splash on friday morning and dock friday sometime in time to get passes etc. hope to see everyone soon.
