I need to change the ATF in my B/W transmissions on the Silverton. In looking at the return line fittings on the bottom of the pan, I can not perform the operation without removing the line from the front of the engine and "twirling" it while turning the 90' fitting to remove. They installed them without a swivel.
I am wondering if I can evacuate most of the oil through the dipstick hole utilizing my pump. The sump appears to be at the same level but I am not sure if the coolant lines will drain if I do it that way. Sure would save a ton of work.
