We are thinking about heading down there in the next few weeks for a long weekend. I've read the other posts about the channel club and it sounds good. They are getting $4.50 - $5 a foot which sounds steep. I also saw the Navasink marina and a few others in the area.

Does anyone have any suggestions or feedback on the marina or others in the area. We will have 3 kids in tow so the pool is nice, but the beach is just around the corner.

Thanks,
MJK

Welcome to the Northeast, that's pretty much the going rate. If you can get into the Channel Club, give it a shot, you won't be sorry.

There's a yacht club right next to Channel Club...can't recall the name.

IIRC correctly it's Atlantis Yacht Club.

Atlantis Yacht Club.

They also have a pool and your still walking distance to the beach and Sally Tee's.

I think we paid 4.50 a foot to stay with Atlantis on Nassau this year. Think about what you get for that. Full access to a huge water park, a beach, and the hotel ammenities. Just sayin'. I'm willing to bet fuel was about the same as well. Other marinas down there were much less expensive.

I would have to agree that the Channel Club is the place to go. Warn the admiral though, they don't have floating docks and she might have to climb a few rungs of a wooden ladder to get onto the dock at low tide.

Channel Club sounds like the best choice, it just kills me to pay $175 a night and sleep in my own boat. There are a few others for $3 a foot but not sure how good they are to stay for a few days with my kids.

thanks,
MJK
