I am going to go ape sh...t with this antisipated cheap gas, this is going to be a summer where I put alot of hours on the boats! How about you?
 
I predict it will be high again come the summer.
Plus fuel on the water normally costs more.
I bet your still looking at $3.50/gallon on water.
Even if you save $1.00 a gallon and burn 1000 gallons a seasons.
$1000 savings ain't gonna make me run my boat any more than I normally would.

Fuel is the cheapest part of owning a boat at $5.00 a gallon or $3.
 
While thats true its just inconceivable to me that anything actually goes down when things almost always go up in cost. I'm just over happy that I'm not sending 150 gallons of fuel money per week to the Middle East...
 
Saving $200 per offshore trip is very appealing. It doesn't mean I will do more or less, just happy to spend it on something else.
 
Active Captain is still showing high prices in VA. Hope you have better luck.
 
Fuel went down but beer, food, Gin, taxes and boat insurance all went up.
So it may be a wash this summer!
