For the first time in over twenty years I don't plan to go. I have a cold-it is very cold outside-it would be less expensive to sell my car to a cabbie in the morning and buy it back from him in the afternoon than it would to park it in McCormack place-haven't heard a good word about 35 feet and up- no new and exciting toys.
Someone tell me I'm wrong and I'll reconsider.

Four Winns 408, Chaparral 400 Premier, Sea Ray 43 Sundancer, Cruisers 42 Sport Coupe...to name a few

----at the Chicago Show? Maybe I'll stir my stumps and go this afternoon.

My son went Friday. I decided not to go this year. He reported that there were far fewer boats, and that it was a disappointment from previous years.

I'm glad I didn't go--wise decision.

Attendance from both boaters and vendors is way down. However, there are still lots of boats. The major brands are well represented, but the smaller, boutique/niche brands seemed to take this year off. Looked like more than normal pontoon boats.

Since we are currently not looking to change-up, we decided to pass on the show at McCormack Place North and wait for the smaller version which is next month in Rosemont, IL. Closer for us, cheaper parking and cocktails!
Last couple of years we have done our "dreaming" at The Michigan City, Ind.In-the-water-Boat Show; 2nd or 3rd week in August. We boat over and stay overnight making it a fun weekend.

I don't know abouot Chicago, but Cleveland's attendance is WAY up, but boats and vendors are down. Response from show goers seems quite positive

Hey rommer...when did I EVER say I was a salesperson? If you follow any of my responses, you would know that I am in the service department. Troll your Regal site please.
