I have a 2008 240 Sundancer and was hoping to get some tips on cleaning and maintaining. where we boat the slips do not have electrical or water hook-up's. Any ideas or recommendations that will help me maintain our new boat's appearance would be great. Thanks

If you're boating in fresh water, a raw water washdown pump installation may be what you need. How do you keep your batteries charged? How do you fill your fresh water system?

The boat comes standard with the washdown I believe. Open the transom locker.

Just my 2 cents but I'd move to a marina where they have fresh water hookups. Even if you have a raw water washdown, I wouldn't use it to wash a new boat.

Thanks all. There are marina's and lakeside campgrounds with water fill areas. Yes I do have the wash down spignot in the transom and a 25 gallon fresh water tank. Unfortuneately, lake Wallenpaupack in PA does not allow individual slips to have water or electrical hook-ups. Battery charging would be by switching battery switch to allow alternater to charge battery in need of power when underway. Other than that, I think a portable generater could be used. It seems using the fresh water wash down would be my only option at this point.
