I'm restoring a RIB and although the tubes are cleaning up really well, the rub rail is stained from mold. It is clean but stained. There are specialty paints for the tubes but it is not recommended for the rubber rail. Does anyone have any ideas on how to eliminate the staining or of a paint for rubber. (I have tried bleach, actone, xylene, light sanding and a mold remediation product to this point). Thanks

I would try bleach white. Let it sit for a few minutes

Yikes, you listed some strong solvents that dissolve plastics........Acetone might make it all mushy...
What material and color is the rub rail ?
I have used "tire black" on my black rub rail. It is more color "applier" than a cleaner and it is UV stable,

I have tried magic eraser but the material is super dense rubber. The solvents don't really do much to the rubber; minor surface reaction but nothing more.
