Cleaning the bilge of oil

So, had replaced my engine last season and of course they didn't install my remote oil drain and now I have a slop of oil in my bilge, anyone know a good way to clean this up without messing up my driveway?
 
Oil absorbing rags to start. Once oil is wiped up you should use a good grease cutting household cleaner with paper towels.
 
Yup!

I use diatomacious(sp) clay to absorb oil spills working on cars and engines. Amazing stuff, the amount it will pick up and still be used over and over. You may still get it in kitty litter form. You can tell if it's diatomacious clay if you can crush it between your finger nails.
 
Why not suck it out from the dipstick? I do mine that way and barely spill a drop.
 
After you get the oil out use 'Super Clean', it's an engine oil stripper. You can get it at an auto parts store.
 
Thanks, I just didn't want to get it all over my asphalt driveway. I had a dipstick pump, but it didn't last very long..my bilge is a mess.. I will try the rags, then fill it with soapy water and drain it, or better yet suck it up with the wet/dry...
 
Oil absorbent rags, then get the remains with Dawn dishwashing liquid.
Put the plug back in while you clean with Dawn, a brush, and some water. Once you get it scrubbed, put container under drain to catch what comes out and remove plug.
It really doesn't take a lot of soapy dishwashing liquid water to get it clean.
You can repeat a couple of times if you need to.
