Anybody gone? I plan on going Saturday to look at fishing boats. What is the deal with the different events going on at the IX center? Does one price get you in all or do you have pay for each show?

Thanks
Niles

I've worked it a couple of days Niles. There are a lot of fishing boats there...and toons. I've heard that you can get into the Boat show and Sportsman show with one fee (if you chose) or go to each one individually.

Thanks Kenny. You guys sell center consoles don't you?

Niles

I was there on Monday. It continues to get smaller each year. So sad.

I work 5 minutes away. The 10 minute round trip would have likely been more amusing and it's not a pretty drive. So very sad what that show has become!

Yes, Niles...we sell Key West and Yellowfin center consoles. As to the size of the show, We, in Cleveland have a problem with people losing jobs and moving away, so the market is shrinking. Honestly, from a business standpoint, why should the show still take up the entire IX Center if the market won't support the cost of the space and stocking all of those boats. Business decision really. It is about the same size as last year...maybe more boats even. Our booth size increased along with most of the other dealers with only the "10 x 10" exhibitors shrinking...you know, things like garage doors and nature stone, jewelry and beef sticks, none of which has anything to do with boating.

When I was there I didn't see the Key West center consoles. I am thinking of a small center console to "play" with on the lake. Something like 16 or 17 feet.

We have a 24 Key West at the show, but they make them down to that size...nice boats. We have a 22 in our showroom also..you should come take a look. The 24 will be in the SR also.

Kenny, I never made it to the show. I'll come to show room one of these weekends
