My galley and head sinks are draining very slowly. I didn't want to assume that Drano is a safe solution for boat plumbing. If anyone can offer some input, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Dave
I would try flushing each with plain water under pressure. You may want to try squirt a high pressure stream of water from the outside into the drain. Put a lid or something over the drain in the sink to prevent water from splashing around the sink. Another way is to bring the dock hose into the boat and flush water down the drain. If grease or soap scum is in the drain, hot water and Dawn detergent will help.
