Very good for your son. I'm glad to see the operator stayed with his vessel as it appears to have saved his life.
 
That has got to be a great feeling reading about something positive your Son did!
I agree it's a good thing he stayed with his vessel.

Your son knows what he's doing. A lot of people get caught up in the moment and forget that important step. Sounds like he and his crew did an outstanding job.

Good job by your son and his crew mates. My question is why was a Towboat Captain without his lifejacket, especially in 4' waves?
