We went out last Saturday and had a blast, well, three out of four of us did. It was so calm and smooth Friday with 4 knot winds, but on our Saturday it came up to between 15 and 20 knots, but we kept fishing. We brought home 6 out of 8 limit, with the smallest being 25 inches - nice Cohos. We had to throw one with an adipose fin back and we lost 7, two of those got tangled around the downrigger wire. The guy that didn't have so much fun was a real trooper and did not complain a bit between his pukes. He also jumped up when he had a fish on (could not hold his own pole) and reeled it in. The adrenilin rush brought up his dinner from the day before, but that did not stop him from jumping up for the second fish that got away. July 31 is the last day, but they'll open it back up for a week of fishing on Labor Day weekend - we'll be there!!!
