Is it any good, have seen some pretty good buys on it when surfing ebay for parts.
 
I like it and have been using it for many years. It seems to hold up well and is more resistent to streaks than teflon polishes.

I tried several products before sticking with the Collinite 920 cleaner and the 885 wax...
 
ok thanks, think I will pick some up and give it a try.
 
navman, if you decide on the 885 paste wax, which I recommend; follow directions. "DO NOT" let it dry......it'll be impossible to remove.
 
I just waxed my boat using Collinte and really like the product.
 
One more comment on the Collinite 885 paste wax. It is only a wax & will not clean surface at all. Unless surface is pristine; I would definitely use the cleaner first.
 
I swear by the cleaner, I haven't found anything that will get rid of spider #rb2@gr5t$% as well as this stuff
 
Thanks for the heads up about the cleaner and the wax, I bought this combo in a kit. It was not the paste wax though.
 
Question,I have read that we are to apply a polish first,then wax.Does the Collinite cleaner remove the polish.

Polish is just a very fine compound. It your gelcoat is in very good condition you don't need to polish. That said, most boats will benefit from a polish before waxing even if the gelcoat looks good. Collinite paste wax is, IMHO, the best wax for gelcoat out there.

But I stopped using it years ago in favor of Zaino.

OK,but some say we need to seal the gelcoat ,is that something different.

Because it is easier to a apply and it lasts longer.

You mean seal it with something before you seal it with wax? I'm not sure what they are talking about.
