Randy, you should have stopped by during the week end, where did you end up ?
i had 125' of chain plus another 25 i dropped to give you clearance to put her in gear so i wasn't too worried, the drag from the chain alone may not have held the boat in 20kts but it would have slowed down the drag... Chain is key to holding, if you can manage the weight, get more than 20'. I think the minimum amount of chain one shoudl carry is the scope the routinely use... in south florida where we usually anchor in 8 to 10', 50 to 60' of chain is good start, again, weight permitting.
