Thanks Dave, probably leave my house around noon.

Hey guys,
Last week I was there at WH, came in at dead low tide, I mean dead low, could not of planed it worse. Came inn at idle speed and never touched or turned mud. I draw 39 inches. Now at the dock, certainly turned a ton of mud :(

I came in at mid tide and saw 2.5' under boat which is about 48" with offset. I draw 41".

I think you turn more mud than me. I watch your boat and your turn mud going out AYC where I don't.

I am going in at high tide. Not worth the risk.

I had a similar experience in the spring at Watch Hill, got through the channel fine then the water was so low in the slip couldn't even back all the way to the dock. I draw about 53". But I'd rather go closer to high if I can to give me more margin for error. If you pass a big boat or ferry in the channel throwing a big wake could end up touching while the boat rolls.

I had trouble getting in my slip last weekend and I am going into the same slip Columbus Day.
Slips seem to have a bump in the middle. Probably from prop wash pushing forward.

We were there for the wine & cheese weekend also. Slip D-36. Saw 5 - 6 feet throughout entrance. Will be there Columbus Day Weekend -- Slip D-33 -- Buffet included...

Thanks Dave. With the tide high around one, it pays to use it. I draw 36 but having just recoditioned my props why take a chance.

Now we just need a repeat of this weekend's weather! :)
