I burned up two brand new water pumps in one day. Could not find the problem so I split the cobra drive and found that the rubber boots on the copper pipe were tore up and the pump was sucking air. I also found a condom in the water passage!!! I am still trying to figure out how it got there. The end was blown out of it. Someones good time on the lake cost me $120.00.
