No need, the old one still works well. Besides a little elbow grease does such a nice job.
We are a little concerned about the wind. I was planning to sit on the bridge so I could watch the river all day. Now I may have to sit in the cabin.to sttay out of the weather.
Went down to the marina and cut the shrink wrap off. Actually the wind helped out allot. I was planning on bottom painting but its way too cold out. Ended up changing the impellers and most of the zincs and now I am home defrosting. Hopefully tomorrow yields warmer temperatures and NO wind so I can get the bottom and drives painted. It does not look like I will make the launch for next weekend. The hull badly needs compounding and new shine. So my launch date now looks like April 12th of the 19th. I need to give tome to get someone there to do the compunding/polishing first an dI am going away to FL the first week of April.
Well I got a hold of George and he did a great job with buffing out the hull. Looks like a mirror again. Hopefully I can paint the bottom on Wednesday and see if I can get it launched on the weekend
That would figure. Cover is off, drives are on, zincs changed, and tabs cleaned and primed. Need to do touch up bottom paint, spray paint tabs and a wash and wax lower half before 3/31.
