Two coats of wax from the rub rail down. Lots of company but no help. It won't be long now.

Who you kidding I did the whole Port side. That's my story and I sticking to it:)

That is quite a story.

OK so I didn't help but being you are all ready done you can start on my boat now:) I'll be a sport and buy you some cigars and beer.

Got the drives cleaned up pretty good, just want to sand a little more. They are actually ready now but I'm a little OCD with the boat I guess. Started on the hull. Was going to touch up some spots today before full paint but weather real bad today. Will probably finish all that during the week then go on board & see if the props need to be cleaned up. Will pick up zincs & drive paint this week too.

Stopped by to see you Mike but missed you.

Where were you today? Put another 4 hours into the waxing. S/B done by next weekend.

At the range shot about a 100 rounds through about 8 guns. Fun day can't wait to go again.

Finished the waxing today. Couldn't have done it without you Dave. April 2nd.....here we come.

April 2nd???? Why so late?

I'm going in on April 1st!!!

Arrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like rain on the way hope it doesn't delay getting boats ready. Heard marina's are pretty muddy.

I'm on the blacktop, so no mud for me. Sunny & 50 both Sat & Sun, I'll get a lot of waxing done.

That's my plan too. I stopped by today and topped of the batteries I don't have a lot to do this year so I hope to get in early.

BTW there were a few snow flakes yesterday so I guess the last snow after you pull your cover was right on schedule and hopefully is over and down with.

Before I go in, I may put on rudder and trim tab indicators. Has anyone had any experience with the automatic trim tabs? Pushing those toggles can be so onerous.

I had trim indicators and the Auto Tab Control on one of my boats and loved them. Very easy to install.

Rudder indicator and tab indicators/control can all be done in-water.

I found the Bennett Auto Tab control and that's $389 which sounds reasonable. Still searching for the rudder indicator. West Marine has one for $39 which adheres to your wheel hub but that's basically a glorified compass. I doubt its accurate. The others I've found are around $500 which seems too costly. I'm looking for something in between thats reliable.

The wheel do hickey isn't worth the effort.

You need to look at VDO solution.

Do you have auto pilot?

VDO make a reliable setup that you can probably be for under $200 for the gauge and sender.
