Wouldnt happen to a searay !!!!

Don how many bolts u got on ur coupling ?

Rob

Kind of a personal question don't you think?

I don't think a guys coupling should be discussed in a family forum.

Who moderates this forum anyway?

I know I have at least 6 on mine Rob but I have diesels. Gas engines don't require as many.

I tried to dress it up... I could have asked about his NUTS u know !

Rob

Mark,
Johns got 2 sets of 6 nuts how many u got??

Rob

I don't have a Searay, and I don't know if I have 4 or 6 (I forget)), but I do know that each one is safety wired so it SHOULDN'T happen.

My nuts aren't wired. I'll have to look in to that.

Greg are u Diesel or Gas ? If possible can u post a picture of the wired nuts ...

Rob

"Wouldnt happen to a searay !!!!"

If it did, you would never be able to see it, never mind service it :)

Rob.....

....how about you ??

Walt,
Where the hell u been... I can see avoiding the Crap storm but sheesh... no love...

Call me later ...

Rob

Don, don't look now but I think your nut coupler has rust.

Oh Sh!t, I must be getting old- not only don’t I remember the size of my nuts, or the number of them- the fact if their wired is beyond me. I’ll have to look at them in the AM when everything is cooled down to the touch!

I let loose on Swabby, really was not right, the language used and the attack was just wrong. That entire (second thread) just pisses me off, Dave asked for a little time for the dust to clear while he works this out, then what happens, this second thread appears and it is just a continuation of the first thread. We all own boats, we have all been bent over at one time or another, I expected more respect from people here than I saw. We, the owners are the little guys; a bunch of little guys can make the big guy do the right thing. I was saddened to see that we did not rally around the little guy.

Believe me when I tell you, the incident that caused the failure on Dave’s boat had nothing to do with our trip, we did not run aground, Billy 3 took us out the inlet, and at no time did I see an less than 4’ of water, actually, his route was cool, he was hugging the shore and we had 14’ or more under the boat, local knowledge.

Bottom line here my friend, we are all in the same boat when it comes to dealing with the big guys, both threads got way off track, that is one of the reasons why he locked down the first one, know one here has anything to lose other than Dave. Some people here have ligament gripes or axes to grind with him, but in this matter, the lack of support and the posts that were made is sickening IMHO.

Me, if I was the moderator, I would of deleted the entire thread, both of them.
