my cockpit and stairway courtesy lights are very yellowed(the plastic bulb covers). I would like to replace the covers only(housing still in good shape). Is this possible?
If I need to order the whole light that is fine, where do I find it available?

If this is a Carver, I'll suggest you contact them, preferably by phone , to see what lights they used , referring to your boats year and model .

Otherwise you could start searching the marine supply companies catalogues for identical lighting units.

I have the same boat, and the same problem. In past years I have removed the white (yellowish) plastic covers and LIGHTLY sanded the outside surface and returned the covers to white, but they turn yellowish again in a couple of years. I hope you find a resource for new light covers. The hole behind these fixtures is about 3/4 inch in diameter, easy to replace these with new lights, just costly!
