you deserve to have a great degree of pride and humility in having that shot, and all that it represents which is more than one can say.

Just, Damn...you built that. Frick'n amazing!

That's wonderful, Pascal! Congratulations.

"Priceless"!

Are you going to sail her up to that little island next door to here?

Thanks!

Here are some other pictures taken on that day by the same photog.

Anything handmade and that pretty deserves to be on the cover!

Aye, she is beautiful. Something very special about a gaff rigged wooden boat. Kept the original sail plan I see - boom on the jib.

Yes, it makes it easier to tack back and forth.

We considered a Marconi / Bermuda rig which performs a little better but this is not about performance. It s about confort and looks

yep, so you lose a point or two. You weren't trying to build an America's Cup boat. You'd certainly get a warm welcome in any harbor north of Boston.

that stinks. i can't believe someone bought a boat just like the one you built and then got it on the magazine cover.

Good catch on the jib-boom, Les.

You may recall the Crew Cuts even had a great song about jib-booms which also seems to apply to Pascal's outlook:

Actually Les, it s all your fault...

I got interested in classic boats because of the trips to Nantucket with Charmer which I am running because of a chance encounter on boaterEd :)
