Crown Head Leaking Water

On the water pump assembly, water is leaking from the nut
that holds check ball spring.
I tightened the nut down the water stopped leaking, but now no water is being drawn up to the bowl.
Is this repairable or do I have to buy a whole new assembly's?

service kits are usually available for every head even some decades old.

Like I said in your other post, get the re-built kit for your unit. I did both my Crowns on my old Carver. if you are handy with basic tools, it is no big deal, not the most pleasant job to do, but not that difficult and if you are going to be in boating, chances are you will be doing it again in the future.
