Hi all-- like Katie, we too lost our big boat in Merrick-- a 35 foot Sea Ray. We take a couple of long trips in the summer to Montauk, Block Island, Greenport, etc., and now lost our summer vacations among other things. There used to be a boat rental place in Freeport called the Freedom Yacht Club. Then I think it was Carefree Yacht Club. But they seem to be out of business here, when I look them up on the web.
Does anyone know of a local place that would rent us a cruising boat for a week or more? The only places I have found are out east and the biggest boat is 24 feet. Thanks for any help.
