I am contemplating replacing my impellers on 454 Crusaders since I am unaware of their age. How difficult is the process? Any special tools required or recommended?
My mechanical skill level is average (plugs, oil changes, etc) and I have never performed maintenance on an internal engine component.
I have a maintenance manual, which does not provide much detail on the topic. I also searched the Internet and did not find anything useful.
