I suggest going to the Sherwood Pump and Johnson Pump (or Jabsco?) websites to see if you can find your model pump ( I believe Sherwood made most of Crusader's). The sites have listings of rebuild kits minor & major that are available for various pumps. Some pumps are relatively easy to dismantle and repair with the kits while others like my Crusader/Sherwood P105(?) crankmount appears to require careful pressing out & in of parts to rebuild. Personally , I prefer to replace the whole pump if the seals are shot and even have a new spare onboard just in case, but you may have luck with a rebuild.
If you do consider a new replacement pump, doing a little shopping can save $ , as there may be upwards of $100 difference in sticker prices for the exact same pump . Boatfix has very good prices if they have your pump ( "Pumps, Seawater Cooling" -several pages : http://www.boatfix.com/indexP.asp?whichpage=6&pagesize=300&make= ).
If you aren't sure of the Model # , it is likely stamped under the paint on the front cover. If it's a Crusader # , it can be cross-referenced.
