I'm been dreaming about my future boat and have recently been obsessing over the new Tiara 3900 Convertible.
It comes with 2 different power options - twin Cummins QSC 8.3 Diesels - 540 hp or twin Volvo D9 Diesels - 575 hp. Aside from the difference in hp, how does one go about comparing these 2 engines? What makes one better than the other? FYI - list price differential is $24,000 - the Volvos are more expensive. Anyone have direct expereince with either of these engines?
