Curtains vs Blinds

The 36 year old curtains in my Trojan International 10 Meter Express are toast.

The colors don't go with the new interior and the look is, well, a bit dated.

There are 5 portlights, none of which are 100% vertical.

I would appreciate good feedback from RO's with any experience in dealing with new curtains or blinds.

I like blinds because they are adjustable to let in light while blocking view of the inside by dock walkers. My miniblinds were held to slanted windows with SS piano wires threaded top to bottom so the blinds were always kept close to the window and didn't swing.

I used Home Depot's blind dept in Copiague. Guy came to my boat to do measuring. They did a great job and they have a string in them that allows you to just push them up and they stay in place. Used vinyl instead of the old metal
ones that crumbled.

ordered my 5 blinds online

went with a product known as "CELLULAR SHADES"

no strings

they push up and pull down

They will allow light to enter the cabin
