I have to do it .... It was in the fifties last night in S. Florida and a mere 74 today during the day.....I almost had to wear long pants.

:-) Oh comon - somebody has to gloat in January on this board.

4 degrees here Olivier...

-16 wind chill...

I was in Newark yesterday....25 and dropping to 15 overnight as I was leaving...felt good to come home to 60 last night!

61 degrees this morning inside.. had to sleep with socks, sweat pants and a long sleeve Tshirt...

great weather !!

Suck it up you Nancy Boys! -25C here ('bout -17F). Want a lil' cheese with that whine? ;o)

Good news is by the end of the week, it will warm up again for the Superbowl parties.
Our Superbowl party is outside on the backyeard and I would hate to have temperatures in the 60's.
I bet it will be as it has been all " Sunshine State Winter" this year: high 70's.
We are damn lucky!

yeah should be a nice week end... waters will be empty with everyone stuffing junk food down their throats, drinking cheap beer and watching a group of overpaid obnoxious illeterate "athletes" playing a few seconds between each commercial :-)

Hey! If I didn't know any better, I would swear you're not having a superbowl party yourself on the boat this weekend.

Come on Pascal...you know you can't wait until the halftime show. I sure hope Prince (or whatever symbol he is these days) doesn't experience "an equipment malfunction".

Hey Pascal,
Same thing they say here about the Soccer World Cup.
You may be right about the game. Superbowl games themselves usually suck.
About beers, I only drink the best: Heineken! So it's not cheap beers.
But then again, you are right about the junk food, but it's only for a day. The greasier, the better! :-)
And the good thing is the party: the camaraderie.
It's lots of fun. Forget the players. The party is about friends having a good time.
You will sure have the whole ocean all to yourself but make sure you turn your TV on at half time. As Ron mentioned, I heard Prince's pants may suffer a sudden malfunction.

i know... it's an excuse for a party... and yes, any fanaticism is silly whether football, soccer, nascar, etc...

why are you guys so obssesed with Prince's pants ?? as i want to see any part of his anatomy !!!

Pascal, I was just pulling your leg. I'm not in the festive mood myself. I haven't watched an entire game all season. Don't even know who the key players are. I was a diehard Patriots fan back when I lived in Boston. But that was during college and it might have been to ease the stress of college life. Since then I've watched it here and there. So I can party with the gang and watch the game, or just sit at home and watch the SciFi channel. It'll be the same to me.

As far as "overpaid obnoxious illeterate "athletes"" are concerned, I always argue that in the money is being generated, and we can't have the owner of the team taking it all home, even after the taxpayers helped build the stadium. Maybe the players who "we" worship should get their fair cut.
