Happy New Year all - looking to redo spaghetti mess under the dash.

Photos of clean and organized under-dash would be helpful.

Challenge is I can do the gauges and switch clusters neatly but then as I hook up devices the longer looser connectors become a jumbled mess.I need to be able to pull dash if I need to work on something/troubleshoot.

Hate to add quick disconnects to each device to accomplish this.

IDeas appreciated

The key is to cut the wires so they get to the device terminal with just enough slack so you can disconnect them if needed

Also, bundle them up thru one or more common bundle. Think of them as a highway with exits...

If your panel is hinged the bundles should come in near the hinge where you will need the least slack to open it up

I have the same issue on the boat I just purchased. I am planning on changing some of the navigation electronics so some point I'll be dealing with this as well.

Doing a helm station rewire in stages; Using tie wraps to contain slack helps a little bit.
